My biggest fear
My biggest fear as an artist is that I always need to have new ideas. Especially if I want to become a fashion designer, I need to have two fashion shows a year at least to be a considered as a designer. I wonder if I would have endless ideas that are strikingly amazing like Karl Lagerfeld. There are already 3,589 names on the wait list to get these temporary tattoos.*The picture above is part of 2010 Spring Chanel collection and the model is wearing temporary tattoo designed by K. Lagerfeld which looks like stockings!
Tinsley Mortimer
Lee Alexander McQueen (RIP)
On Friday 11th, 2010, just nine days after the passing of his mother, British fashion designer Alexander McQueen was found dead in his Mayfair home. Known for his unique cat walks, McQueen often captured the fashion world by using his models not only as mere subjects, but as aspects of live compositions that he composed using cages and live butterflies. Several days before the start of London fashion week, McQueen was prepared to view some of his pieces. Nevertheless, he will always be remembered as an iconic figure to the British fashion world and a creative genius to the runway.

Online Home of VOGUE
This website is online fashion magazine VOGUE and is one of my favorite websites. You can see all collections of work created by fashion designers. It also has trends, parties, shopping etc. sections, however, I usually only visit Fashion Shows section and find it useful for me because I can get inspirations when I practice designing clothes, or drawing fashion illustrations.

Social Networking
To maintain a healthy social profile, I contact my friends and family through the internet. It is important for me because I can keep in touch with friends and family in my hometown. Sometimes digital social network brings physical social network. I think overall positive side of social networking services is that I can keep in touch with people no matter where you go or live. Also, I can meet people with similar interests.

What makes information pure?
(what achieves clarity of information?)
One should evaluate the source of the information to identify whether or not it is reliable or pure. People or companies with a bad reputation for reporting events containing unreliable information shouldn't be trusted. However, if the individual or company has a good reputation for reporting events in their true nature, then it further promotes the clarity of the information.
What don't you understand?
I clicked 'edit' from top left corner. Then, i changed one color on 'Configure Followers List', however, I don't understand what has changed.
What are you learning?
I learned how to post pictures in different sizes, change the title of my blog and change many things in settings.
Textiles
I made this dress in Intro to Textiles last semester for final project.
Details
I made this dress in Intro to Textiles last semester for final project.
To make this dress...
First, I dyed the white cloth into a fushia color. Then, I cut out pieces of patterns from the dyed fabric. After, I pinned pieces of fabric together and sewed them. I used one piece of weaving for the center of the dress. After making the dress, I also made lining, which is the inside of the dress. After, I carved bambie onto a rubber block, and printed navy blue bambies on the dress.
Digital Publishing

Where do you find information that you can trust?
Often times, I am able to find reliable information in pieces of literature, including books, magazines, and academic essays. I find these reliable because I am able to research background information on writers and check their other work to see if it's legit as well. The news can be very biased at times, whether displayed online or television, so I'm very selective about which sources I obtain my information from. Stories that display the primary source are often best, as I am able to trace the source and read other articles or information to validate it.
Where do you get your local news?
The media can be very unreliable, often displaying one-sided views, so I prefer to obtain to my information from an official news website that display primary sources so that I am able to confirm their claims. (Oakland news site)
Why do you trust that source?
That site is trust worthy because many people also get their information from there.
Is it important for you to know what's going on? Why?
The world is constantly changing, whether it takes place in my country, or countries across the seas. It's always important to know what's going on because there are times in which individuals (locally) are alerted regarding problems or situations that could be potentially harmful. If I do not watch the news or check online, I would be unaware and not prepared to accompany the battle.
